Yes, that's right. When setting a fixed discount for a bundle, the plugin will set a negative price for the main bundle product (exactly equal to the discount you set) to ensure the total is accurate regardless of whether the buyer changes the quantity or the variations of products in the bundle.
The sub-products retained their original prices. That's why the VAT wasn't calculated correctly and was higher than the actual value (€444.00 instead of €419.00).
Using percentage discounts is a reasonable and viable solution at present.
Hello,
I’m using WPC Product Bundles Premium and I noticed an issue with fixed amount discounts and VAT calculation.
When I apply a fixed discount amount to a configurable bundle, WooCommerce calculates VAT on the original bundle subtotal before the discount.
Example:
The displayed price is correct, but VAT is calculated on €444.00 instead of €419.00.
I tested the same bundle using a percentage discount instead, and VAT is calculated correctly on the discounted price.
Is this a known issue with fixed amount discounts? Is there a recommended setting, workaround, or official fix?
Thank you.
