I’ve now tested this further and it appears the bundle stock is being derived from the tracked stock of one bundled child product. The displayed stock levels align with the quantity of AppGuard included in each bundle, so this now looks like expected behaviour rather than an error.
The main confusion is that the bundle-level stock UI suggests the stock figure can be managed directly, when in practice it appears to be inherited from the bundled child products.
In WooCommerce, a product must always be in stock before it can be added to the cart and checkout, whether purchased individually or as part of a bundle. Therefore, you can manage the bundle inventory, but only up to the quantity calculated from the individual products. One practical scenario where inventory management for bundles could be used is when a seller has hundreds of products but only wants to sell 10 bundles at a discounted price, selling the rest as individual products.
