When you use automatic pricing for a bundle, the total for the bundle is calculated from the child products and their VAT. Conversely, if you use fixed pricing for a bundle, the price and VAT are calculated only for the main product, and the child products will have a zero price.
So, are you saying the wrong VAT is the way it should be? Why is there an automatic option then? Cause nobody can sell products with the wrong VAT amount.
Or maybe I understand you wrong, but it's not clear for me why giving a discount on a bundle gives the wrong VAT amount.
Please send me your website credentials (wp-admin link, username, and password) or create a dev/staging site with identical configurations so I can check for any issues.
When you set the discount amount, it will be assigned to the main product bundle with a negative value so that the VAT calculation will be wrong. Instead, try using a percentage discount:
Hello,
I have an issue which I just noticed because the government pointed it out. VAT is calculated wrong with bundles.
See example attached. 21% VAT (set in Woocommerce) should be 21,85 euros.
All non-bundled products work fine.
Can you please check?

Seems like the VAT is calculated on the normale price, not the bundled price.
When setting the price manually it works. Seems like a bug, which is not good.
Let me know.

Hello Dustin,

I give two pricing methods on our plugin so you can choose the one that suits you.
Which pricing method are you using for your bundle?
I can help you check further and fix this issue when you use the premium version of our plugin: https://wpclever.net/downloads/product-bundles/

Hello Dustin,
I did buy the premium version ([email protected]).
I want to use the automatic pricing, with the discount set in your form. But then the VAT is not calculated correctly.

When you set the discount amount, it will be assigned to the main product bundle with a negative value so that the VAT calculation will be wrong. Instead, try using a percentage discount:
The result will be like this:

Doesn't that defeat the purpose of setting a fixed discount? I want to be able to set a fixed discount because the price of a product can change.
Also, the VAT in your image (9,88) is still the wrong amount.
I have reset the discount to 5,95€ for that bundle https://www.yvsport.nl/product/sportoutfit-yv-dark/
Now, it looks like this:
Is this an acceptable calculation result?
Best regards,
Dustin
No. It should be 19,77. That’s 21 percent VAT.
So, with percentage or set discount in the options it doesn't calculate the VAT correctly.
I apologize for this shortcoming in our plugin! I will check and fix this issue as soon as possible.
If you use the premium version, you can request a refund because it is not working as expected. We will refund you.
Best regards,
Dustin
Thank you. How do I request the refund?
