I'm in the middle of testing your solution for a client. However, I've created a ‘shopping basket’ product where end customers can choose what they want to put in it. So far, no problems. My problem is that I can't set a price for the ‘basket to personalise’. The regular price box is set to 0 and I can't change it. Could you please tell me how to do this?

    Hi MEHDI,

We provide premium support exclusively for users who have purchased the premium plugin. Please provide your license key or email so I can verify your purchase.

    Best regards,
    Dustin

    Hi Dustin,

I understand that support is exclusively for your premium customers. However, I just need to know if it's possible to add a price to this ‘basket’ outside your premium version. Or if I need to take the premium version to benefit from this price. The aim is not for you to solve my problem but just to tell me whether it's feasible.

    Best Regards,

    Mehdi

Please don't enable fixed price so that it will be calculated from bundled sub-products automatically.

If you want to allow buyers to select products, you can also try another plugin from us: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpc-composite-products/ (demo page: https://demo.wpclever.net/wooco/product/composite-products-04/ ).

    Best regards,
    Dustin

Sorry, in that case, do the opposite. Please tick on the "Fixed price" and then click on the link on the same line:

    Hello Dustin,

With this method, I can actually put a price on my basket, but now the price of the items added to it is no longer calculated. Here's a screen shot of the front end and back end.

So you want to use the auto-calculated price for the bundles but don't want to show the zero price here, right?

If yes, you can fill in the custom display price here:

    Hello Dustin,

Yes, the price is displayed on the front end but the prices are not calculated when you choose items to put in the basket.
To be clearer, we want people to be able to add products and for the prices to add up. There's the price of the basket + the price of the products. I don't understand why this doesn't work.

Please give me a product bundle link so I can check it first.

To be faster, please send me your website credentials (wp-admin link, username, and password) or create a dev/staging site with the same configurations so I can check for any issues.

    Best regards,
    Dustin

Dustin, I see it's been added. But when you're on the front end, and you fill your basket with products. In the total price you have to pay, there isn't the price of the €2.70 basket, there's just the price of the items we've put in it.

It's correct. Our plugin calculated from bundled products only. So, you can create a hidden product named 'Basket' with a price of €2.70 and then add it to the bundle.

You can also try another plugin from us: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpc-composite-products/. It will allow you to set a price that includes the base price:

No, I can't do that, as it requires me to buy the $29 pay version. Is the other extension in place of this one or in addition to it?

  •  1,281
    Dustin replied

It's another product type called composite. It has the pricing function as your requirement:

You can try the free version here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpc-composite-products/. Creating a composite doesn't require a premium version.

Ok Dustin, I've just installed the new plugin but I don't understand, I don't have my products to select any more. It's really stressing me out that it's not working.

It has a different structure from WPC Product Bundles. With this plugin, you can add many components and choose products for each:

Dustin, I don't like the way the new extension is presented. If I take the premium version of the first extension, will the basket price work or not?

If you use WPC Product Bundles, please try this solution:

Our plugin calculated from bundled products only. So, you can create a hidden product named 'Basket' with a price of €2.70 and then add it to the bundle.

Hi Dustin, thanks. But with the new WPC Product Bundles, I can't block the maximum number of products in my basket, it doesn't work.

    Please check this notice:

The first component doesn't have any product:

    1218735134.png

You don't need to add this first component if it's the base product.

Moreover, the second option isn't used to limit the quantity; please uncheck it:
