I'm currently facing some issues with the WooCommerce auto-packing feature and WPC Product Bundles 8.0.8. I'll try to elaborate on it below.
Let's assume I have a WPC product bundle "bbq starter kit" in my WooCommerce shop which consists of the three single Woo products "bbq grill", "bbq gloves", and "bbq hot sauce".
I have set the correct shipping dimensions (w/h/l) for each single product as well as for the packed bundle which has a separate cardboard packaging and therefore, different shipping dimensions than just putting the three products into the box unbundled.
Everytime a customer orders a "bbq starter kit", the main product (the bundle) is added to the packing list as well as every product it contains. Therefore, WooCommerce seems to sum up the dimensions of all products on the automatically generated packing list for shipping: 1. bbq starter kit, 2. bbq grill, 3. bbq gloves, 4. bbq hot sauce.
As a consequence, WooCommerce assumes that the bundle does not fit in the package originally chosen at checkout / order placement. It then automatically splits the order into two separate parcels despite the fact that the bundle in fact does fit into the package.
Is there a way to prevent WooCommerce from adding bundled product shipping dimensions (2. - 4.) to the total shipping dimensions to enable auto-packing orders?
