    Hello:

I have a client that uses the Bundled products plugin. Would it be possible to use the 'related items' to suggest an upsell that would appear in a popup when they click the 'Add to Cart' button ... and then remove the original item from the cart if they accept?

Specifically … user experience would be ...

    1. Add ticket to cart
    2. Popup suggests a bundled item (which is two tickets and two products)
    3. User clicks ‘Add to Cart'
    4. This will add the bundle and remove the original ticket added to cart (they have been sold the upsell … not an additional item)

    Is this possible?

    Hi Chad,

That sounds like a fantastic suggestion, unfortunately, our plugin does not currently support this particular feature.

You can use another plugin from us https://wpclever.net/downloads/added-to-cart-notification/, to show suggested bundles after adding a ticket to the cart. However, the buyer still needs to remove the first ticket manually.

    Best regards,
    Dustin

This support doc (see attached) seems to imply that upsells would remove the previous item. Can I just not use bundles as upsells?

Would it be possible to try the premium version of added-to cart-notification for a week? We have other, non-bundle things that we'd like to see if we can add to our popup on click of the add to cart button.

    Hi Chad,

You can buy the premium version here: https://wpclever.net/downloads/added-to-cart-notification/ and request a refund if it doesn't work as you expected.

About the document, this is a misunderstood of our writer. We'll fix it soon.

    Best regards,
    Dustin
