What is the difference between linked and related products?

WPC Smart Linked Products – Upsells & Cross-sells for WooCommerce

WPC Custom Related Products for WooCommerce

And what's the point of using two plugins if they are practically the same? Or what's the difference? and on what pages are these products displayed?

    Please explain.

And is it possible to add related products to the Checkout page similar to Order Bump? Using your module

And do you have plan released Order Bump plugin?

    Thanks

    Hi Volodymyr,

For your information, the distinguish has already been written in the description page of these plugins: https://wpclever.net/downloads/smart-linked-products/ & https://wpclever.net/downloads/custom-related-products/

They are not the same. WooCommerce has different mechanisms for related products, cross-sells & up-sells (linked products).

    - Related products: products that are under the same categories or tags with the main product. These related products appear in the Related products/Similar products section of the single product pages.

    - Linked products: cross-sells and upsells specified in the Linked products tab of the single product pages. Cross-sells are products shown on the cart page. Upsells are products shown as upgrade of the current being viewed product on the single product page.

Our plugins offer different sources to create smart related, cross-sells & upsells products. You can re-use the linked products to be shown in the Related products section and vice versa.

There are even more complex conditions for configuring products with brands, collections, types, visibility, shipping classes, etc. so users define related products, linked products in bulk for multiple products at the same time.

We do not have any specific schedule for order bump plugin. The term Order Bump is invented by other authors. Basically, users can use our plugins to encourage customers to increase the order value and size.

These plugins can also help users add multiple products as Bought Together on their single product pages using our WPC Frequently Bought Together.

    Best regards.
