I have several components that are mandatory. However, users are still able to deselect all products in these mandatory components, which is not ideal for my store’s operation. When a mandatory component has no product selected, it incorrectly reduces the total price of the composite product. Is there a way to fix it?
Thanks for contacting WPClever Support Forum. We're not available at the weekends so today (Monday) I am able to process your ticket.
I have got your issue. However, it's quite unreasonable since I tested this on our test site and visitors have no way to remove the selection of required components.
Please provide us with some screenshots of back-end settings and a link to your published product for checking?
If possible, can you please provide a video recording of the process to help us retrieve this issue for checking?
After receiving your information, I'll proceed to the next step.
Thanks for the video. Your response came when we were out of our business hours already last week so I will continue our session today (Monday).
Maybe you have missed some details on the composite page. When a component is required and the grid or list layout is chosen, customers can remove the check on any item, BUT there will be an alert above the add to cart to remind them to choose the items and the Add to Cart button will be disabled until the required selections are made for all components.
You can see the alert and add to cart button is disable on your product:
This can guarantee that customers cannot add the composite product to the cart without making all required selections. I can confirm this is how it works with our plugin.

I can uncheck the items even if they are not optionnal when the layout is set on grid. I do not have the problem with listing layout.
