I'm setting up my bundles to automatically remove any previously purchased products from the bundle. However, this can get confusing for the end user because the bundle description may refer to products that are not showing up in the bundle for the user.
I'm using custom code to display a list of the previously purchased products that have been removed (on the product page and even on the cart and checkout page), along with a note like "these products have been removed from your bundles because you've already purchased them." This would be a great feature to add to the plugin, though, so I wouldn't need to rely on custom code to achieve this. Thanks for your consideration!
However, our developers' response is not very positive about the possibility to add this feature to our plugin. They said that would cause conflicts with some external discount and pricing plugins and they were concerned about the caching issues as well. They said it was quite impossible at this time for our plugin so they wouldn't add this.
Thanks, but I don't see how this would impact any discount or pricing plugins. It has nothing to do with pricing or discounts. It is mostly a theming issue -- displaying for the user the products that were removed from the bundle (if this setting is enabled) because they previously purchased them. I also don't see how this would cause any more caching issues than the existing functionality of the plugin, either.

Hi Eric,
Thanks for contacting us here.
I have sent your request to our developers.
