I have a single product, lets say 1000 pieces in stock. This item is not sold separately, just in a bundle with another product. No problems so far.
But now, I want to sell this product in fixed quantity bundles of 25 or 50 pieces.
So, I need a variable product (so the user can choose with the dropdown box how many he would like to order), but the inventory of that single product should be reduced by the chosen amount - I dont want to have separate inventories of each bundles, as they are not bundled on stock but they are packed by order out of the single items in stock.
The product itself should not be sold as single item inthe shop, just the fixed quantity bundles or in the existing bundle with the other product.
1.1. Navigate to WPClever >> Product Bundles >> find the "Link to individual products" option and choose "No" to unlink individual products from the smart bundle.
1.2. Edit the single product page, adjust the Catalog Visibility of that product to Hidden from search and shop results to prevent buyers from finding individual bundled products and purchasing them outside the bundles. This will do the trick.
2. You can create 2 bundles, then use our WPC Linked Variation to link them together by a common attribute.
First, create a bundle 01 of 25 units of product A, bundle 02 of 50 units of product A.
Then use an existing attribute or create a new one under Products >> Attributes then configure 2 terms: 25 units & 50 units. Assign each term to each bundles correspondingly in the Attributes tab of each bundle page. Remember, each bundle has only 1 term, either 25 units or 50 units.
Install the above plugin, go to Linked Variations >> Create new >> add 2 bundles and put a check on the Units attribute >> Publish.
And Voila, you have the bundles shown as variations for customers to choose:

How can I achieve this?
Hi Christoph,
Thanks for contacting us here.
1. To not sell your sub-products outside bundles:
It's possible to prevent customers from finding and purchasing products you created for smart bundles separately outside smart bundles.
You can kindly refer to this guide https://doc.wpclever.net/docs/woosb/faqs/12-unlink-individual-products-in-bundles/ then
