Hi Good day - I am wondering if you guys allow two things with the plugin.

    1. Price for composite components to be different. additionally, can we do a higher price take priority on the add-on? This means that a customer can choose 2 options for food and they have some choices to choose from - Chicken (2 dollars extra), Fish (4 dollars extra), and Shrimp (10 Dollars extra). The shrimp is the most expensive so it's 10 dollars additional. If they take this twice it only adds the 10 dollars and not 20. Also if they take shrimp and fish they still get charged only 10 dollars and not 14.  This way the higher price will be the only added cost to the total of product.

    2. Can I choose from hidden products? I am building out a food store and I only want the customers to be able to get the product from a hidden item and it cannot be found on the website otherwise so I am going with hidden.

    Hi Kiel,

    Thanks for contacting us here.

    1. Unfortunately, our plugin doesn't support conditional logics or price adjustments for products in the same components like that. You can either use the full prices of these products or set up a new price for all in the New price box only.

    2. For your information, it's only possible to add Publicly Published products to special product types created by our plugins: Smart Bundles, Smart Grouped Product, and Smart Composite Products. All products must have a price configured to be purchasable. Any products with no prices won't work properly in these special product types.

This means any Hidden, Private or Draft products cannot be searched for to add or display in the frontend. If due to some reasons, these products appear in the frontend, they won't work properly as other normally published products.

    est regards.

    Hi good day,

Thanks for the response, a couple questions based on your response.

    1. Can adjust pricing with custom code then?

    2. Then how do you stop someone from buying the composite item? Meaning. You will list the item publicly for 10 dollars but that is really just an addon to the price. Or even 0 dollars just so it shows no additional cost. How do you stop someone from buying publicly the item at 10 or 0 dollars if the item can be accessed outside of the composite product?

    Hi Kiel,

    For your information:

    1. It depends on how you would like to adjust the pricing. If you need further help, I can connect you with one of our developers for further instructions.

    2. There's an option in the plugin setting under WPClever >> Composite Products >> "Link to individual products", choose "No" to unlink individual products from the smart composite. Customers won't be able to click on the title to visit the single product page of subitems.

Next, edit the single product page, adjust the Catalog Visibility of that product to Hidden from search and shop results to prevent buyers from finding individual sub-products and purchasing them outside the composite. This will do the trick.

You can read more about that here: https://doc.wpclever.net/wooco/faqs/question-12-unlink-individual-products/

    Best regards.
