due to local legal requirements we are obliged to show the price for a base unit on DPP as well as in grid views. We use "Germanized für WooCommerce Pro" for this which adds new fields to products and variations facilitating e.g. base unit, units per product, price per unit etc.
Single Variations plugin does not show these fields in grid view. Could you please add support for "Germanized" plugin or advise on how to add the required information to the output? Please see screenshot for better understanding.
Thanks for contacting us here. We have just been back from a long vacation so today I am able to process your ticket.
For your information, our plugin doesn't support the Germanized plugin yet. We can't detect the price from that plugin to display properly as users prefer.
Since you're using the Pro version of that plugin, can you kindly reach out to the developers or authors of that plugin and ask for further help? Maybe they can offer some hints for solving this issue? Our developers are not familiar with that plugin so we can't solve some issues regarding pricing and discounts with Germanized plugin yet.
thank you very much for your reply. I contacted the developer of Germanized plugin and he answered as follows:
"Honestly, I wonder how the developer does the embedding in the grid specifically? If the hooks are executed by Woo Core (e.g. for embedding the normal prices), then this should also work for base prices, since Germanized uses the corresponding Woo hooks to output the base prices in the theme or on the category page. This is then output via the template in woocommerce-germanized/templates/loop/price-unit.php."
Don't know if this answer is helpful. Please let me know if you have more specific question regarding base prices which I would pass through to their support team.
Thanks for the feedback. Your response came when we were out of our business hours already last week so I will continue our session today (Monday).
I have sent your ticket to one of our developers so that he can bring this up to our development team. They will consider the details and respond to you when there is any change to be made.
WPC Show Single Variations version 2.3.3's compatibility with vlone the Germanized für WooCommerce Pro plugin is crucial for e-commerce businesses targeting the German-speaking market. Germanized für WooCommerce Pro enhances WooCommerce's functionality to meet Germany's specific legal and e-commerce requirements. When these two plugins are compatible, it ensures a seamless integration between displaying single product variations (offered by WPC Show Single Variations) and adhering to the legal and regulatory aspects necessary for selling products in Germany. This compatibility allows businesses to provide a better shopping experience, meet compliance standards, and efficiently showcase product variations, ultimately benefiting both customers and merchants operating in the German market.
