Good day, I am testing a plugin often bought together. In it, I would like to specify the discount for the main product by amount, not by percentage.  Is it possible to do this?
Attached is an image showing what product is involved.

    Hi Marcin,

    Thanks for contacting us here.

We have received some similar requests like yours before. However, it's impossible (honestly technically difficult) to use amount discounts for the main product.

It's because in some countries, even discounts are subjected to tax charges, so it's hard to decide which rate will be applied to the amount discount in Bought together deal (whether to use the main product's or any of the listed items).

It also causes some issues in pricing, especially when combining with special product types such as Smart bundle, Smart composite and Smart grouped. So we only offer percentage discount for the main product.

    Best regards.

Hello, I have one more question. In the plugin frequently bought together. In woocommerce settings, the price for the main product when we have a discount on the main product is correct. When I use shop kit from kadence to build a product the discounted price does not show.
Do you know how to do this?

I need to use it in both cases.

I will give examples in the attachments.

    Hi Marcin,

    1. Maybe our plugin is not compatible with the other plugin. You said that was a kit builder, so you can consider using our product bundling instead. They can work with this plugin properly:

WPC Product Bundles is a plugin for bundling simple, subscription, and variable products. Customers must buy all items included in a bundle to enjoy the promotion/discount. There are 2 pricing methods: fixed price (General tab) or auto-calculated price (the sum of prices of all chosen bundled products). Customers can change the quantity of each item when the Custom quantity option is enabled and can leave any item out of the list if you set the Min quantity limit for each item to 0.

This is the most flexible and common plugin for building offers with min/max limit and flexible tax rates.

You can check one example here, this bundle is made of different variations of the same variable product: https://doc.wpclever.net/woosb/bundle-samples/.

    Live demo: https://demo.wpclever.net/woosb/

WPC Grouped Products is a plugin for grouping separate products together. Groupable items must be simple and variable products as well. Customers can choose to add only 1, some certain items, or all from a product group to the cart. All items in a group are still treated as INDIVIDUAL items. Noticeable, Grouped Products doesn't have any discounting method. Users CAN'T control the chosen quantity of grouped items as well. The only way to give a discount to a group is to use the coupons or vouchers.

    - We also have another plugin called WPC Composite Products for WooCommerce, which is a kit-building plugin. In a deal, you can set up both optional and required items, with flexible pricing methods: only base price, include/exclude base price. You can rename a component and set a new price in percentage or an amount.

Espcially, users can add multiple products to each component, and with version 6.2.0 or later, users now can choose either SINGLE or MULTIPLE selection for each component of a composite

There are a variety of sources for users to pull various products at once to each components using product tags, categories, attributes (color, size, ...), brands, etc.

    2. You can use the WPC Frequently Bought Together plugin to add optional extra products to a smart bundle/ grouped product/ composite product: https://doc.wpclever.net/woobt/bought-together-setup/

Or use the WPC Force Sells plugin to add required extra products to a smart bundle/ grouped product/ composite product: https://doc.wpclever.net/woofs/force-sells-setup/

These extra items will be displayed under the main bundled products/ grouped products/ component products on that product page.

NOTE: Both Bought Together and Force Sells items can be added to the same main product so that you can have both optional and required options in a single offer.

For more information, you can kindly refer to the online documentation of our plugins on this site: https://doc.wpclever.net/.

    Best regards.

Hi Jenilyn, last practical question. This time about plugin WPC Force sell.

When I create a combined price for the main product and for the force sell product this price is shown as in the picture. In the catalog it is different. I will show it in the pictures in the attachment. Is it possible that the price in the catalog is the same? Is there any code to create this?

Sorry for the inconvenience, but this product can appear as one in both forms, but the Vat tax is different for the car seat. And it should be on the invoice separately. There is also a problem with the xml feed, because the price does not include the car seat when I sell it as a set.

    Hi Marcin,

Thanks for contacting us here. We have just been back from a long vacation so today I am able to process your ticket.

I have consulted our developers about your question. Technically, both Bought Together and Force Sells are not considered kit or product group by WooCommerce. These products are additional/extra items bought together the main one. So the price in the archive/shop page will show the main price only.

The only difference between these 2 plugins is that Bought Together is optional while Force Sells is required. But they are like the add-on products so it's hard to keep the price shown as you prefer on the archive/shop page.

    Best regards.
