Is it possible to set up and show estimated delivery dates for variable products with the premium version? I'm using the free version of the plugin at the moment, but it seems it's not possible with the free version.
Did you mean you would like to set up estimated delivery dates per variations of variable products? If that is your question, unfortunately, our plugin doesn't have that feature yet. This is because there are many rules regarding shipping classes and shipping zones already.
So, in the Premium version, users can configure the individual delivery info for products in one tab:
If you would like to configure the est. delivery date at the product level, you can consider purchasing the Premium version of this plugin. There are some more features such as Skipped dates and Extra time.
An estimated delivery date plugin is a tool that provides customers with an estimated timeframe for when their order is expected to be delivered. It enhances the user experience by offering transparency and managing customer expectations regarding order fulfillment. While I can't provide real-time plugin recommendations, I can explain how such plugins typically work:
Integration: The estimated delivery date plugin needs to be integrated into your e-commerce platform or website. This can often be done by installing the plugin or integrating it with your existing system, depending on the plugin's specific requirements.
Configuration: Once integrated, you'll typically have options to configure the plugin according to your business needs. This includes setting up delivery date calculation parameters, packaging boxes such as handling time, shipping methods, and any specific holidays or non-working days that may affect delivery.
Data Input: The plugin may require input such as the customer's location or shipping address to provide accurate delivery estimates. It might also consider the shipping method chosen by the customer and any additional factors that affect delivery times, such as product availability or stock levels.
Calculation and Display: Based on the input and configuration, the plugin will calculate the estimated delivery date. This can be displayed to the customer on the product page, during the checkout process, or in the order confirmation emails. The estimated date can be presented as a specific date or a range of dates, depending on the plugin's capabilities.
Updates and Notifications: If there are any changes to the estimated delivery date, such as delays or updates from the shipping carrier, the plugin should be able to update and communicate this information to the customer. This ensures transparency and helps manage customer expectations throughout the fulfillment process.
It's important to note that the specific features and functionalities of estimated delivery date plugins may vary depending on the plugin provider and your e-commerce platform. It's advisable to research and choose a reputable plugin that is compatible with your platform and offers the features you require.
When selecting a plugin, consider factors such as ease of use, reliability, customer reviews, and support options. Additionally, ensure that the plugin integrates well with your existing order management and shipping systems to provide accurate and seamless delivery date information to your customers.
Thanks for your quick reply. Another question: is it possible to show the estimated delivery date on the WooCommerce confirmation email or/and in the order details in WooCommerce?
