Hi, i just purchased the pro version, but realise there is no "turn off sale price" which is what I wanted. i want to time the sales so that they are for certain dates in a month, for certain products. If you look at the attachment, is how I configured a test run now, but is there a smarter way to set duration for example? and will this result in that the products appear as on sale, but at no price reduction, when I enter 100%? or what will happen? I don't want items that are not on sale at the moment to appear in the "on sale now" sections on my webpage for example
For your information, if you would like to set the sale prices for your products to be active only from 1st to 5th every month, you will need 5 different actions for that since each timer only accepts 1 specific date-time combination:
- Action 1: Set sale price, Monthly on 1
- Action 2: Set sale price, Monthly on 2
- Action 3: Set sale price, Monthly on 3
- Action 4: Set sale price, Monthly on 4
- Action 5: Set sale price, Monthly on 5
The action to set sale price to 100% is not valid since the sale price must be lower than the regular price. If you use the 100%, you mean to use the current sale price of products (if any). If your products do not have any sale price configured in the General tab, this action won't work. You can only set sale price to a new price, not a percentage.
Ok so if I do action 1 you mention below, that means that the sale price is activated for that specific day, and then the next day and all other days, its not activated? I see, that means that what I want to do, set time periods for all products when they go on sale and not, is doable but will consume a lot of time. If I want to skip December for all campaigns, is there a way to do that?
Yes, the action 1 can be 'intepreted' into that your product will have the sale price at $19 for example from 12 AM to 12 PM of 5th in every month. The prices will be back to normal (use the prices you set in the General tab) before and after the 5th of each month.
If you want to skip the December, I meant if you would like to use the regular prices or current sale prices of products, you can use the below action;
"Set sale price, 100%, On month no. 12"
Since there are two points for referring the sale price to: the current regular price or the current sale price, the above action might not work for products that do not have any current sale price in the General tab as I mentioned in my last reply; so our developers are going to release a new update for this plugin so users can configure from which price they would like to refer to.
Until then, if you still need my help, I'm happy to give further examples. Our developers are going to release this very soon, please stay tuned for that.
Yes, indeed. There are new features added in recent updates of this plugin. We haven't added these changes to our documentation yet. That video was made for version 3.4.0 of this plugin.
The current interface of Global Timer tab looks as below:
If you would like to copy the timer settings across products, you can go to the Products section then click on the Timers to copy the data:
If you don't see the Timer column, you can open the Screen Options and remove some columns to see the Timer there.

hi again thanks for the replies. I saw a video on your site https://doc.wpclever.net/woopt/faqs/2-how-to-copy-timer-settings-across-products/ but the interface there looks totally different than what I have, whats up with that?

How about for the set sale price function, in regards to above?
Hi Johan,
Pardon me? I'm not getting your question.
Did you mean what the relationship of Set sale price timer to other timers/actions in the list?
Set sale/regular price, Enable/Disable Sold Invididually timers are called independent actions, they work independently.
You can read more about that here: https://doc.wpclever.net/woopt/actions-conditionals/
