    Hello,

I want to use your module, but I need a function that is important and I did not understand if this function is included in the paid offer.

I sell Argentinian empanadas on a menu and the customer must be able to choose from a menu, for example:

2 different empanadas (so far so good, I'm getting there with the free version)

The choice of different drinks + A choice of different desserts.

Does the module allow you to manage while accounting for the stocks of the products that are attached?

For example in a menu: 1 chicken empanadas + 1 beef empanadas + 1 coca cola + 1 dessert empanadas!

    Merci

    Hi Jeff,

    Thanks for contacting us here.

For your information, our plugin manages stock of the bundle based on the available stock of bundled sub-products. When one of the bundled sub-products goes out of stock, the whole bundle will be out of stock.

If all of your bundled products only use the stock status (In stock/Out of stock) with no quantity configured, you can freely set up any stock for the bundle by enabling the "Use stock management at bundle level" option >> Update then go to the Inventory tab to enter a stock quantity.

If one of the sub-products have stock management enabled with a specified stock quantity, the stock management will be enabled for the main bundle.

    More on Stock Management:

    1. Stock management at product level:

For your information, when there is at least one of the bundled products in your bundle has this stock management enabled in the Inventory tab of their single product page, this option will also be enabled for smart bundles that include them.

Hence, in the Inventory tab of the Smart bundle page, this option will always be enabled https://www.screencast.com/t/RBFpzykB when any of the bundled items have this turned on.

    2. Stock management at bundle level:

When stock management at bundle level is checked & press Update, users can go to the Inventory tab, enter a stock quantity for the bundle: https://www.screencast.com/t/HkAUULvsIb.

NOTE: The stock quantity of a bundle must NOT be higher than the available lowest stock of the bundled products.

In case you would like to set up a specific stock quantity for the bundle, ALL of your bundled products must be in stock and only configured with a stock status instead of a stock quantity. If any of your bundled items has a stock quantity configured, it will tie the smart bundle's stock to that quantity.

    For example:

    - Item 1: In Stock

    - Item 2: In Stock

    - Item 3: In Stock

=> Enable stock management at bundle level, configure stock quantity: 9 >> OK.

    - Item 1: 3 In Stock

    - Item 2: In Stock

    - Item 3: In Stock

=> Enable stock management at bundle level, configure stock quantity: 9 >> the quantity will always change to 3 after pressing the Update button. You can still configure the stock quantity of the bundle to be 2, 1, or 0.

    >> Stock management at the product level is always prioritized over stock management at the bundle level.

So the only way you can configure a higher stock quantity for your bundle OR disable the stock management at product level in the Inventory tab of the bundle is to make all bundled items use the stock status: In Stock/ Out of Stock instead of stock quantity.

Thank you for your answer, but I did not have total confirmation according to my question.

Google's automatic translator is certainly to blame.

I will try to put my question more clearly.

I have a pack in which the customer can choose

    • 3 different empanadas
    • 1 single drink from a choice of ten
    • 1 dessert from a choice of 5

Of which each product is created and has its own stock management.

Is it possible to offer these choices in the pack?

Do I have to switch to the paid formula of the module?

Thank you very much for your answer

    Hi Jeff,

Now I get your question better.

FYI, for your needs, I recommend you try our WPC Composite Products instead of WPC Product Bundles because:

    - You can configure each component to accept multiple or single selection

    - You can add multiple products to each component at the same time using product tags, categories, types, brands, collections, attributes, etc.

For your package, you can create 3 components:

    - Component 1: multiple selection, add all the empanadas to it for customers to choose

    - Component 2: single selection, add all 10 drinks

    - Component 3: single selection, add all 5 dessert

You can do this even with the free version of this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpc-composite-products/, it's just that the free version only allows Products source, so you will need to manually add each product to each component in the backend.

The Premium version brings more sources for your use.

WPC Product Bundles only allow single selection and all sub-products are added as individual items, customers cannot choose different choices from the same product inside.

You can learn more about our plugin here: https://doc.wpclever.net/wooco/

    Best regards.
