the WPC Product Bundles seems to provide everything that I need, except for one thing. When I have one Main product, I need to be able to change its quantity without it affecting the quantities of the bundled products.
As an example:
When I have a Main Product "Event 1" and for that main product I have 2 bundled Products "Water" and "Fries", the user should be able to enter for example "3" for the quantity of the Main Product "Event 1" and then whatever quantities for "fries" and "water". The plugin currently works as that the bundled products quantities will be multiplied by whatever quantity was entered for the main product, but I need it in a way that the main product's quantity will not affect the quantities of the bundled products.
Is that possible? I know there is another Plugin "extra product options" but I can't use it as it will store the additional product options as meta fields and therefore I can't give each extra product a separate VAT/tax value and it also doesn't show up correctly on the invoices that way.
For your case, you can try making Water and Fries as optional extra products called Bought Together with this plugin https://wpclever.net/downloads/frequently-bought-together/ so they won't be affected by changing the main product's quantity.
thank you - this could need work! Just one general question: I see with the pro versions of any of these plugins I also can add headings to these sub products - can I add as many headings as I need to better organise the sub products or is that limited to one heading? Ideally it would be like this: of course I would determine the look & feel with CSS but it is possible with the pro version to add headings, correct?

Hi Jana,
Thanks for contacting us here.

You can read more about this plugin here: https://doc.wpclever.net/woobt/
In a smart bundle, the main product is a virtual one, so all sub-items will be multiplied by the main quantity as always.
Best regards.

Hi Jana,
I have some personal issues so I left our office earlier last week. Sorry for the late response.
There's no limits in how many headings/subheadings and paragraphs you can add between items within smart bundles. You can organize it as you want.
Best regards.
