Cache issue

    Hi Team,

We are using the LiteSpeed Cache plugin on my website with your WPC Product Timer for WooCommerce (Premium) plugin. And there is a simple but painful issue:

When a product has "Set sale price" "After the date", the product page will not display the correct sale price (i.e. the price set by your plugin) until you update the product manually (by clicking the blue Update button on the product editing page). Thus it makes your plugin almost useless in combination with a cache plugin since it'll just not change the pricing as expected. I believe that at the checkout stage everything works well, but in order to get there a customer needs to see the sweet price to decide to buy a product.

Is it possible to improve your plugin, please, so it lets a cache plugin know that the page was actually updated and thus the cache needs to be purged for the product page?

Alternatively, if a script (in functions.php) could be used to solve the issue, this could also be a solution. Please advise.

    Regards, Jake.

    Hi Jake,

    Thanks for contacting us here.

For your information, it's quite a commonly reported issue for our plugin indeed. Our plugin works based on the real-time data while the caching plugins only update the database on certain periods.

I have sent your ticket to our developers to consult their advice about how to exempt our plugin from the caches or find a way to work with caching plugins. Our developers will respond to you after considering this issue. It might take some time under our heavy workloads.

    Best regards.

Thank you, Janilyn. It would be very nice if your developers can help with the cache issue.

Otherwise, sale pricing could take up to a week to appear on product pages, and also it can make customers very unhappy if they add a product to the basket just to discover that the sale price does not implement any longer (because the sale was actually over but the product page was cached).
