This is an issue that happens only in the Chrome browser for pc and mobile.
So, everytime I go to a product, I add it into the cart, and then I go back to the previous page by pressing the back button of the phone or the browser, the mini cart won't update the count. This might be something about the cookies or cache.
You have to fix this ASAP because users are used to add products into the cart and go back the previous page to check the product catalogue. They will get frustrated if they see their mini cart empty.
I've attached a video so you can see whats the issue about.
We have received your report and been able to reproduce the issue. Indeed, this is related to caches and site reloading. Our developers have been investigating and checking further on this. They will release a new update as soon as possible to fix this.
When you find a new update on your dashboard, please do. Remember to clear caches and cookies before checking again.
If there is any feedback about existing issue, feel free to reach back to us here. Thank you.
I have got a reply from our developers about your case so your ticket is now transferred back to me.
There are some points they would like to clarify:
1. When pressing on the Back button or any equivalent button to go back to the previous page, it's actually an order to "retrieve the exact status of the previous page". So, here the caches will step in and revert all changes to store the page to how it was before that. That's why our Fly Cart reverts back to empty or decrease the quantity in cart.
if you add 3 items at a time, press Back will change the cart to 0. If the cart already has 3 items, you add 1, then pressing Back will decrease the quantity down to 3 again.
This is, in fact, not an error or bug, but a functionality of the browser.
It's different if you click on any where to navigate to another page. The cart will load the correct number of items as the caches won't be restored. So, the issue only happens when you press Back or slide to go back on any device.
If you still doubt about this, you can try with any other plugin with the same process and use the default themes from WordPress to test.
2. There is a feature we have built into our plugin that can help prevent this. You can go to WPClever >> Fly Cart, find the "Reload the cart" option then turn on
The Fly Cart will be reloaded properly once you go back to the previous page.
Yes, please use that option to force the cart reloading when visitors go back to previous page. It will make sure the item count is correct all the time.

Hopefully, my explanation is clear enough.

so, will the option 2 fix the issue?
Hi Alan,
Yes, please use that option to force the cart reloading when visitors go back to previous page. It will make sure the item count is correct all the time.
