For your information, a smart bundle is a type of product, though it's more like a virtual product that holds other products inside. So when a bundle is sold, WooCommerce will count 1 for the main bundle as bundles itself have stock as well. So bundles are treated the same as normal products like simple and variable products. That's why it counts 4 items sold.
Of course, the stock of bundled sub-products will also be counted when the bundle including them is ordered. You can find more data in the Analytics section in the main dashboard.
Sorry for the late response. We have just conducted a thorough system checkup so today I am able to reach back to you.
Unfortunately, we haven't developed any tools for that purpose. You can kindly observe through the Analytics section. I will add this request to our developers' dashboard so that they can consider adding it when possible.
Can you please clarify how I can be get a real idea of how many an individual product has been sold?
e.g Bundle AAA has products X,Y,Z in it.
If we sell
2x AAA
3x Y
I'd like to know a report showing:
- that I've sold 5 of product Y (even though some of them were in the bundle).
- how many bundles I've sold.
How can I create or find such reporting?

Thank you. I am aware of the Analytics section.
Is there a good reporting plugin or way to easily and visually deduct/filter the 'virtual' bundle from being added?
