    Hi, We have been using your plugin for nearly 1 year and are very happy. Sometimes we have a problem with the plugin - a customer placed an order which contains a product, that is supposed to be hidden on that day in the shop. Can you please give me an idea of why this is happening? Best regards, Albena

    Thank you for contacting WPClever Support Forum. We’ve received your ticket. I'm off at the weekend so today I'm able to reach back to you.

    However, the description is not enough for us to find the cause of the problem. Please provide us with some screenshots of back-end timer settings and a link to your published product for checking? 

    It might be that the timer settings are not properly configured so the products are not hidden on chosen date and time. 

    Sometimes, caching plugins and some special product layouts such as product grids or product table might also interfere with the functionalities of our plugin as well. If after checking the timer settings, I couldn't find any issues, I might need to request for access to admin area of your site to check the compatibilities with other plugins on your site.

    After receiving your information, I'll proceed to the next step.

    Janilyn, sorry for the delay, but I had difficulty logging in to the website. I read the previous ticket with the same problem - we don't need our products to be unpurchasable, we need them visible and invisible on the website because our store works like that - we have a daily menu of products. We can't show all of them at once, that is why we bought your plugin. 

    The last product we had the problem is purchased on 23.08, and I have attached its settings. This is the product

    Hi Albena,

    Thanks for getting back to me. However, when your reply was sent, we have been off for a long vacation so today we are able to reach back to you.

    I have consulted about your case with our developers. After testing, they concluded that the actions of "set visible/hidden" were still working properly on your site. 

    The purchase of the hidden product on your site was due to the fact that your customers have saved the exact URL to that product when it is visible and purchase later by accessing the saved URL directly when it is hidden. We can't prevent a hidden product from being purchased if customers have the exact permanent link to access the product page directly. If your site is using Saved for later or some other kinds of product saving plugins/functionalities, it might cause the same issue.

    For your case, I would like to suggest that you can combine "set visible/hidden" with 'set unpurchasable" to make your products also unpurchasable even when they are hidden. 

    For example, your product is visible on Mondays, 8:00 -10:00 AM only, you can combine by using the exact conditionals:

    - Action 1: Set hidden, Everyday.

    - Action 2: Set visible, Weekly on every Monday, Daily time range: 8:00 - 10:00 AM.

    - Action 3: Set unpurchasable, Everyday.

    - Action 4: Set purchasable, Weekly on every Monday, Daily time range: 8:00 - 10:00 AM.

    This will make sure when your product is hidden, customers won't be allowed to purchase it even though they have the exact URL. I think for your case, it would be the only workaround that can apply to all cases.

    Hi Janilyn, Thanks for the advice! We will make it as you suggested! I wanted to ask one more thing - there is an update for the plugin, but it says:
    You have version 3.6.0 installed. Update to 4.0.3. View version 4.0.3 details.
    Compatibility with WordPress 6.0.2: Unknown

    Can we make the update?

    You can rest assured about updating to version 4.0.3 as it's compatible with WooCommerce 6.0.2.
