I have purchased your bundled, composite and grouped products and cant figure out how to do this without creating a bunch of bundled and composite products.

I sell car stereos and parts to put the radio in the car.

I need a customer to choose their car.  That picks 3-10 products.

Then they choose the radio that we are selling them.  That choses the radio and 2 other parts other parts.

I need them to see a total price but not be able to adjust the quantity or price.

A bonus would be if the radio could automatically select a specific variation and maybe even add a product. (if radio has GPS antenna and car has factory antenna add GPS adapter)  If any of this requires a custom job I'm also open to that.

    Thank you,
    Christian

    Hi Christian,

    Thanks for your patience.

For your information, for your needs, you can use WPC Composite Product plugin to create a offer with:

    - 3-10 components, based on the parts of the order that customers must choose to build a complete stereo system for their car. For example, if it contains a radio, GPS antenna & GPS adapter, then you will need to create 3 components for your composite product.

    - You can add several products to each single component in the backend, then in the front end there will be a drop-down that shows all available options for customers. ie. if you add 3 different models of radio to the 1st component, customers will be able to choose 1 out of the listed models.

    - Any components that include required products, you should choose Yes for Required option so that customers cannot remove them from the order. Choose No will make that component optional. A composite can include both required and optional components.

    - If you would like to configure a fixed total price for the whole composite, you can choose only base price for the pricing and enter this price in the General tab. If the offer starts with a base price, that will be the General price. So Include base price means the total are calculated by the sum of the base price and chosen products. If you choose Exclude the base price, the General tab price will be disregarded and total are calculated by the sum of all chosen products.

    - You can hide the prices of sub-products and only show the total for the composite: https://doc.wpclever.net/wooco/faqs/question-3-hide-the-image-price-of-component-products/

    - If customers cannot adjust the quantity of each component, you can choose No for Custom quantity in the component setting.

PS: Your question for the bonus feature is not possible with our plugin, unfortunately. Components are independent of one another so it cannot assign the next variation to work with a chosen item.

If customers need to choose a radio that comes with or without a GPS antenna, please make it a variable product: Radio, attribute: Antenna, variations: Without antenna & With GPS antenna then add this product to a component.

    Best regards.
