Hey guys, so, I'm using the plugin for a few different clients and this seem to a common issue with the fly cart that I'm hoping you could help, but basically the issue is that the cart sometimes is loaded with "random" products in it, and they have mentioned that different people can see the "same products" added, even though none was added (which is the most confusing part). I believe this could be related to cache or maybe you know how to debug this properly? I do have the "Reload the cart" option set to "Yes" in the settings and I use the WP Rocket cache plugin if this helps. I was wondering if you ever came across a situation similar to this and how can we debug it?
Indeed, I do have a feeling that this issue is related to the caches and temporary files on your site & browser, too.
Have you tried to contact the author of the WP Rocket plugin to ask about how caches are stored and how to frequently purge/flush caches on your site?
Is your site using the AJAX? If yes, maybe you can install this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/wpc-ajax-add-to-cart/ to assist the AJAX loading on your site. It's easy and simple, with no special settings required. Just 1-click installation.
After receiving your feedback, I'll guide you further if that doesn't help.
Hi Janilyn, thanks for your reply. I will contact WP Rocket to ask about that, would a more objective question would be how we can purge/flush cache more frequently?
I can install the Ajax Add to Cart plugin, will that affect anything in the process or is it just installing and activating it?
Yes, it's great if you can ask about how caches can be purged/flushed more frequently to make sure all changes made are applied properly.
Our developers said that the WPC AJAX Add to Cart plugin will assist sites that use AJAX Add to Cart and also make sure items are properly added to the Fly Cart popup. It doesn't affect much on other plugins. It just complements the missing piece for AJAX in some themes/template. You just need to install then activate it. No need to do anything else.
