I was wondering if you have any Abandoned Cart plugin that is compatible with Fly Cart? I'm using the free version, not sure if the pro version includes such functionality or if you have another add on for it?
Thanks for contacting WPClever Support Forum. We're not available at the weekends so today (Monday) I am able to process your ticket.
For your information, our plugin doesn't have any cart abandoning functionality yet.
If you find any plugin that has this functionality you want, you can kindly provide us with a link to check it from the frontend to see if we can add it to our plugin or not.
Or you can find any plugin with cart abandoning functionality, you can use and if you encounter any issue, we offer free customization service for Premium users. You can always contact us here to get support and we will help you fix the errors.
Hi Janilyn, yes, so I have tested this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-abandoned-cart/#:~:text=Go%20to%20WordPress%20Dashboard%2D%3EPlugins,link%20to%20activate%20the%20plugin.
Which seems to work once you add something to your cart, the website will prompt the user to add their email (so we can track to follow up for the abandoned cart), but because the Fly Cart "add to cart" probably behaves differently than the vanilla "add to cart" button, it won't ask for the user for their email. There are other paid abandoned cart solutions, but it wouldn't be very convenient to keep testing it with paid plugins I believe. I'm not sure if this is something you could look at or if you have anything else to advise? I would like to of course keep using your Fly Cart plugin, but perhaps I need to change it?
I have glanced at the mentioned plugin for a while and my opinion is that if possible, we might need to release a new plugin to implement the cart abandoning functionality. From my point of view, it's not just a simple functionality to be added to the WPC Fly Cart plugin.
I will send your ticket over to our developers and also add a note to our developers' dashboard to have them consider this as soon as possible.
Since we are going to have a 7-day vacation very soon, we will be back for support and plugin upgrade at the beginning of May.
I will keep you posted if there is any news from our developers about this.
Our plugin Fly Cart just shows the cart contents on the sidebar and doesn't affect the add-to-cart or removing progress. So, I think it can work fine with another "abandoned cart" plugin.
We also add this plugin to our development plan but it's separate from Fly Cart.
