at https://seasondelicatessen.de we are selling delicatess food items and vine. We want to have a monthly Gourmet Box now which people get for a special price and can do an abonnement later on.
the problem now is that we have different VATs for the goods in the box.
For food it is 7% and for the vine it is 19%. Is there any way how we can have the VAT calculated depending on the products? So that only the part of the package with the vine has 19% and the rest is 7%?
We see that boxes with vine are sold way better but we loose 12% at each box :/
Thanks for contacting WPClever Support Forum. We are not available at the weekends so today I am able to reach back to you.
For your information: In order to create a smart bundle that includes bundled products with different tax rates, your bundle must use the auto-calculated price, not the manual price (price entered in the General tab). Then, when you add products (with predefined tax rates on their own product page) to a smart bundle, the tax rates will be auto-calculated into the bundle's total.
no worry at all, I was not expecting a reply on the weekend.
I have a followup question. To have a Product bundle with a fixed price and individual calculation I need to
uncheck the box "Disable auto calculate price. If checked, click here to set price by manually." and after that I enter my price at "Custom display price" or how can I achieve a certain price?
The Custom display price is for the display purpose only. It shows a custom price format to customers when they browse the bundle page. You can have the autocalculated price or manual price (disable the auto-price then enter a fixed price, ie 49.9 in the General tab price.
Kindly remember that only the autocalculated price (the sum of all bundled items) can accept different VAT items to be calculated into the total of the order. If you want to set up a manually fixed price (price entered in the General tab), it will not count the tax of bundled items.

Hello Janilyn,

At the moment I am converned about this bundle:
https://seasondelicatessen.de/produkt/monatsbox-feinkost-wein/
The value of the single products is around 60€ and we want to sell it for 49,90 as an offer. The wine in there hast 19% VAT, the rest 7%.
Thank you and best,
Josef
oh no I just saw that when I add this product to the cart it has the calculated price although I i put a "custom display price" in there.
But now I figured it out. I can use the discount :) It seems to work.
Thanks for your hint. This helped me.
Best,
Josef
Hi Josef,
It's a relief that you have found what you need.
The Custom display price is for the display purpose only. It shows a custom price format to customers when they browse the bundle page. You can have the autocalculated price or manual price (disable the auto-price then enter a fixed price, ie 49.9 in the General tab price.

Hello Janilyn,
yes, I think with the autocalculated price and a fixed discount it works the way we like it to have :) Thank you!
