Is there any plans to have the components added separatly and that you can have them priced individually? As it is now you have to discount all the same.
It would be nice to have more control over the component like variable products but still have stock management on seperate products.
1. You can set up discounts for individual components by using the New price box in each component settings: https://www.screencast.com/t/4snIs7jz3zzm. For example, to give a 10% discount, you can enter 90% there.
2. I'm not sure if I get your idea right in this part, but each product that has enabled stock management and has a stock quantity configured will be displayed in the front end like this: https://www.screencast.com/t/qXOaszgd3ijj.
If you would like to sell them with separate stocks for the composite products and as individual products at the same time, you can duplicate your subproducts, configure a stock quantity for them in the composite as normal products, then follow the instructions in this guide https://doc.wpclever.net/docs/wooco/faqs/question-12-unlink-individual-products/ to unlink them from the composite & adjust their catalog visibility to prevent buyers from purchasing them outside the composite.
I think that could be solved maybe by a custom field under each linked product in the general-tab. A field that is maybe called "Price when added in composite product". Then your plugin grabs that price instead of regular/sale-price.
Thanks for the feedback. Our developers are not available at the weekend so today I am able to contact a developer from our team. He is the leading developer and he said this is impossible since it's too complicated, thus it might interfere with the pricing of the whole composite.
Hmm, sounds strange. What I talk about is that you create a custom field in the product (not the composite product but in the linked component product). A custom field that just has a static price. That price is then gathered from the composite product as the price for that component. Instead of gather price from the product price field it gets it from another product field.
I ofcourse is not a developer but in my world it is just a change of where to get the price from. If the field for custom price is set, then get it from there, othwerwise get it the ordinary way.
However, I am not a technical support agent so I cannot explain to you in detail. What I got from our developers was that they said this could break the structure of the composite. Inserting a custom field for each component would cause an issue when combining with third-party plugins for pricing & discounts as well.

Hope that my instructions are helpful enough.

Hi!
Thanks for reply.
I think I found the answer on this page sadly:

Do you have developers you recommend?
