Love the plugin! Accomplishes exactly what we were looking for.
One small thing—it seems as though our settings are erased whenever the plugin is updated. It's somewhat of a bother, given that we have to go back every time and re-set everything accordingly. It also seems our custom CSS gets totally overwritten.
Is this a known issue? How can we prevent this from happening moving forward?
Thanks for contacting WPClever Support Forum. We're not available at the weekends so today (Monday) I am able to process your ticket.
1. Are you having any custom code inserted into our plugin on your site?
2. Or did you mean that the settings you configured in the plugin settings under WPClever >> Smart Compare have been reset every time you update our plugin?
3. Where have you put your custom CSS code on your site?
Please provide me with more details and I will find you a developer from our team to help you with that.
1. No, I do not believe so. (Other than some CSS, which I'll detail further below.)
2. Yes, exactly—it is the WPClever >> Smart Compare settings that are seemingly erased whenever I update the plugin.
3. The CSS is compiled and loaded in an additional file. But the style changes are minimal and target no more than a few elements.
It's really just the Smart Compare settings I'm referring to. I can't understand why I have to re-configure everything upon any plugin update. So any and all insight would be great.
I have assigned one of our developers to help you with that. He’ll be looking into your question and responding with specific instructions as soon as possible.
Please stay patient as we're having very heavy workloads, it might take some time for our developers to reach back.
