It's possible to enable only 1 unit of TargetSKU in a smart bundle, however, you must go to that single product page, open the Inventory tab and enable the Sold Individually option https://www.screencast.com/t/YVzLwdbHdM. This will make the quantity fixed to 1.
Kindly note that even when it is purchased separately or alongside other products, the quantity cannot be increased or decreased.
In case you would like to sell it normally outside bundles, you can consider making a duplication of that product, then set up separate stock, and enable the Sold Individually option for that duplicated version inside smart bundles only. It will do the trick.
Can we set maximum quantity for an individual product with in a Product Bundle?
We have 4 products in the bundle SKU1, SKU2, SKU3, TargetSKU
We want to lock the quantity of the TargetSKU to be 1 and only 1, while customer can pick the quantity of the SKU1, SKU2, SKU3 from 0-3.
Current Setting as follow:
SKU1, Preset Quantity = 0
SKU2, Preset Quantity = 0
SKU3, Preset Quantity = 0
TargetSKU, Preset Quantity = 1
