I have numerous variable product bundles on my Woocommerce website: Specifically I sell coffee in 2 sizes (250g or 1kg) and in a number of different formats (whole bean, espresso grind, Moka pot grind etc). As far as I can tell the individual variable products are correctly set up work fine when purchasing individually.
However, for some reason, every time I triall adding a product bundle, a warning gets put up saying that I need to select a variation even though it is already selected (in this case, "whole bean" or "espresso grind" etc) and the price gets set to "0".
Any ideas what could be causing this issue?
I am running

Please help me check the Variations tab of the Product data of the variable product page if you're using the "Any" variation like this https://www.screencast.com/t/5x5zDG7DkWc? This would cause issues when adding the whole offer to the cart since there is no specified value for the attributes so variable products/variations are not properly recorded. Please help me specify a value for each variation then try to add it to the cart again.
I'll wait for your feedback before giving further advice.
Yes - that's exactly right. I have the "any" variation selected for the products I want to bundle when it comes to grind setting.
Effectively I have only two variations of each product: one in 250g and another in 1kg. The "grind" variation does not change the price of the product, which is why I have put it under "Any" in order to not have to create new SKU's for every single product as there should only be 2 SKU's.
To specify a value for each bundle variation, does that mean I am going to have to click the "generate all" option re variations and add separate SKU's for every single variation I have? This is absolutely not something I want to do. The only difference in price is between the 250g and the 1kg.
Thanks for the information. We're not available at the weekend so today (Monday) we're back to work and check your case out.
In case the 2nd attribute does not make any difference in the prices of variations, you can kindly uncheck the option "Use for variations" in the Attributes tab https://www.screencast.com/t/aiHJ1lvnSlm, then in the Variations tab, only the options for the first attribute will be displayed https://www.screencast.com/t/aiHJ1lvnSlm. This will solve the issue of lacking values for the 2nd attribute and the bundled products will be added to the cart properly.
It's the only workaround when you don't want to specify the values for the 2nd attribute.
