I just want to let our customers purchase product A without selecting product B or C if they don't want to. Is it possible? If it is, what setting should I have done?
In that case, you can create a Smart Bundle, then add product B & C, set the default quantity, don't enable the Custom quantity option (leave the checkbox blank/unchecked), then choosing a pricing & discounting method (if any).
In case you would still want to allow Custom quantity so that customers can choose a preferred quantity for each item, you can enable the Custom quantity, then put 1 in the Min box like this: https://prnt.sc/xqwosh.
If you would like the main product to be an actual Simple or Variable product, you can use the WPC Force Sells plugin to add product B & C to product A. When buyers click to buy product A, they cannot choose to leave either B or C, but to buy them altogether.
