I am a new ecommerce business that decided to try this plugin to sell my kits. The problem is, this plugin does not work properly for backorder items in the kit, and does not allow kits with 20 items or more due to NGINX error. I tested this on a brand new wp build on high-performance Vultr VPS, so I have good host and everything, and still error.
After installing this plugin, my best selling kits were no longer purchasable for a few days, costing me anywhere between $500-1,000 per day in sales.
If you are a small business that is already making money, I would play it safe and use WC Product Bundles because I believe their support team would never abandon you like these developers have abandoned me, ignored my private tickets for a week now.
Using this plugin is hands down one of the most expensive mistakes we have ever made due to lost sales. And what's worse, you won't detect the problem unless a customer reports it to you or you test the website while Incognito mode, because everything works fine when testing as admin.
We''re truly sorry for any inconvenience and trouble caused to you. I have checked your on-going tickets and they are in progress by our developers. However, we're having very heavy workloads so it's taking pretty much time for our developers to reach back to users.
The long response time was due to our ticket system as well, since it arranged the latest updated tickets with replies at the bottom and pushed up the unreplied ones on the top to make sure everyone receives a reply. I have checked and your ticket has been pulled down the line and switched to Today's tab due to the latest response time.
We're truly sorry for wasting your time. I have transferred your ticket to our sales staff for processing your refund request. Our staff will respond to you within the next 24 hours after finishing this.
A word of caution,
