I am unable to use WPC Product Bundles for WooCommerce (Premium) with wp-graphql-woocommerce and I was wondering if you offer another plugin or support to make these compatible? Or will you offer support for this in the future?
Root Problem: We have a woocommerce online shop (Wordpress 5.6) and we would like to move our frontend to Gatsby (a frontend that would call woocommerce using graphql). When running any graphql query on our products, we run into an error that your plugin is not supported by wp-graphql-woocommerce;
"The "woosb" product type is not supported by the core WPGraphQL WooCommerce (WooGraphQL) schema."
I am not sure if the plugin wp-graphql-woocommerce will offer support for compatibility with other plugins directly and so I wanted to reach out to your team first to see if this was something you were already working on? (see discussion here; https://github.com/wp-graphql/wp-graphql-woocommerce/issues/258).
Thank you for contacting WPClever Support Forum. We’ve received your ticket.
However, the description is not enough for us to find the cause of the problem. Please provide us with some screenshots of the error and a link to your published product for checking? We have never received any reports about this before.
If possible, can you please provide a video recording of the process to help us retrieve this issue for checking?
After receiving your information, I'll proceed to the next step.
Thanks for a quick response. I am happy to provide you with more information. If you see below, when I make a graphql query to my woocommerce products, I am unable to call my product because some of our products use your bundle plugin (woosb). It works just fine if I specifically exclude any products that use the bundle. So I cannot use this bundle plugin AND graphql. Other plugins have created a plugin so that their tool is able to be used with graphql. So I was wondering if you had plans make the bundle plugin so that it works with graphql, specifically wp-graphql-woocommerce? Is there more information that I can provide to you?
To be honest, I think this is quite difficult to be implemented since it might take up very much time and effort for our developers to investigate the mechanism and make proper adjustments.
I will send all the available information to our developers for checking and investigating this. I can't give a firm answer to this now since I'm not a technical support.
Thanks for passing on the information. In the meantime, I have found that there is already support for a similar plugin Woocommerce Product Bundles. This is exactly what I am looking for support with, except for your specific plugin.
However, since our plugin uses a very different mechanism from the WooCommerce Product Bundles, this might still need careful investigation. Personally, I'm hoping there will be good news soon.
Honestly, I'm not sure about this since I'm not a technical support agent, but I'm very keen on this since we have received many reports about issues with some common plugins. Personally, I hope this can be addressed soon, however, for now, I can only add this to the backlog of our developers' dashboard so that they can work on it when it's time.
Hello, We are at a point where we need this or we will have to look into an alternative plugin. Is there any way you can tell me if this is on the developers roadmap for the next year?
This issue has still on the backlog of our developers; dashboard. As I have stated from the beginning, I'm afraid this won't be easy for our developers since they need to investigate a whole new system, which is quite out of our hands for us at the moment. If possible, you could kindly try other alternative choices in the meantime.
