I recently bought the Product Bundles Pro version, as I understood from the description that version supports the variable products in bundles. My webshop sells t-shirts among other things, and I created variable products for them, for size and color. So far I only managed to add one specific variation add to the bundle (eg. with specific color and size). Is it possible to add the variable product as a whole to bundle, and the viewer of the page can decide on bundle page which variation wants to buy as part of bundle?
Yes, of course you can add the whole variable product to a smart bundle. When you type to search for the product, kindly note the mark at the end of each line:
simple #…: simple product
variable #…: variable product
variation #…: a specific variation of the variable product above it.
If you still couldn't add variable products, kindly record a video of your screen and share the link to that video here for me to know the issue and help you further.
Janilyn, I just did a bunch of updates to my site and I am having the same issues. I can only see and select simple products (no variable or variations). I specifically try to type in the exact name and/or product number and nothing shows up.
I'm currently using the free version as it was enough for my needs. Is the ability to include variable products now only available in the paid version now? Thank you!!
For your information, since WPC Product Bundles version 5.0.0 on, the free version of our plugin only supports simple and subscription products, instead we have lifted the 3-item max per bundle limit to now allow unlimited products in a smart bundle. This was due to a warning from the official WooCommerce team about giving limits on 3 items, but we could not make it completely free for all features. So the possibility to use variable products and variations is now available in the Premium version.

Choose the one with the mark "variable #...", you can read more in this guide https://doc.wpclever.net/woosb/bundle-setup/, mind the Step 4.
