I recently purchased the WPC Fly Cart plugin for my website (www.katrabeats.com). I have it running and have been testing it, however I noticed that invalid coupon messages (or any other messages for that matter) do not show anywhere in the cart. I believe this may have gone unnoticed or is possibly a bug.
One thing I noticed was that when I got the actual cart page, katrabeats.com/cart .. the messages ARE indeed there but are not being shown on the WPC Fly Cart UI.
In fact, we have included notification in the fly cart popup before, but then there are many requests to remove it because it affects the experience when there are many items in the cart. So we have removed that.
If you would like us to include that for your site, I can request a free customization from our developers so that they can create a custom version for your site. We won't add this to the official feature of our plugin.
Please confirm in your reply to this ticket then I will transfer it to our developer for considering if this is possible to be added or not. Our developer might need to access the admin area of your site to check the theme/template and everything else before confirming the service.
I see now. I wouldn't want to have a "One-Off" version of the plugin on my site. I don't know how that would impact me compatibility-wise on future updates. I think I will keep it as it is for now. I think that giving users the option would be a much better idea, some of us may want to see if we at least like the feature, and disable it if we don't.
Our developers have decided this after we make some statistic assessment that it really affects the user experience, especially on mobile version so they have removed it. I have asked them about adding an option for controlling that from the plugin settings again, they said they will consider that, but not for sure since loading the notification also slows down the cart loading speed as well.
But let's stay positive. I have already added your request into the backlogs of our upcoming plans for their consideration. Maybe one day you will find that feature added into our plugin.
Wish you all the best. I'll close this ticket for now. Feel free to contact us at any time when you need help.

FYI, a valid coupon to use on my site is "KB20"
Look forward to your response!
