I have set up a composite product using 3 products. The idea is to have them mix and match from those 3 products to a quantity of exactly 10 total (10 pack). The settings and warnings look correct, but even if a warning shows up (for instance 12 have been selected), it allows the user to add it to cart. The price still is fixed where I want it, but the breakdown below shows the 12 they selected in that case. That would require us to go back and contact the customer.
A different issue is that our first order came through and it only showed the composite product on the order, not what they selected in terms of the quantities of the individual items.
For your case, our developers might need to check the back-end admin area to find the source of conflict.
