    There is a comment in your code: 

    Cart contents instead of woocommerce_before_calculate_totals, prevent price error on mini-cart

    But woo have function in class-wc-ajax.php:

    calc_line_taxes

    Where is the recalculation of goods from the admin panel. 

    And composite goods didn't recalculate.
