Is it possible to add variations to the bundle product ?
Here is what I would like to do: I would like to propose cooking recipes that showcase a bundle with the necessary ingredients. But I would like to have a variation depending on the number of people. (recipe for 2 persons, 3 persons, 4 persons ...)
Here is an example: Bundle variation 1: "for 2 persons". 1xProduct 1 2xProduct 2 Bundle variation 2: "for 3 persons". 2xProduct 1 3xProduct 2
Quantities change according to the number of persons selected.
For your information: it's possible to add the whole variable product or just some specific variations to a smart bundle in the Premium version of our plugin.
Since your answer, I bought the premium version because I thought my request was possible. But in fact I think you misunderstood my request or I misunderstood your answer. In your answer, I understand that it is indeed possible to add products or product variations to a bundle. But I would like to add a variation to the whole bundle.
Here is my use case, may be better to understand: It's an e-commerce site of a grocery store that offers recipes with a bundle of ingredients. The variations of the bundle would allow the user to change the number of people for the recipe and thus change the quantities of ingredients (products) in the bundle. Solutions that do not suit me : - the user enters himself the quantities - based the recipe bundle product quantities for 1 person then simply double the quantities by buying as many bundles as there are people for the recipe meal.
If I misunderstood your answer, I apologize but I didn't understand the necessary configuration to do that.

After carefully reading your description, I think this is impossible to be achieved with smart bundles. You can only create bundles like this:
- 2 x Product 1, variation 1
- 2 x Product 1, variation 2
- 3 x Product 2
etc.
Then in the universal quantity box next to the Add to cart button, when customers choose 2 for example, all quantities of bundled products will be multiplied with 2. (so it will be 4-4-6). It's not possible to have different groups of bundled products as in your example:
Smart bundles don't have variations or attributes. It can't create small groups with different predefined quantities like that in a smart bundle. I think there's only one way to achieve that with our plugin is to create separate bundles with fixed predefined numbers of bundles products for 2 people, 3 people, etc.
If your purchase of our plugin is still within 7-day time period, then you can kindly submit a new refund request ticket then we will refund the money to you. If it has been over 7 days, unfortunately we couldn't do anything further in this case.
