Importing Woo Product data with Preset Timers
Closed

    Is it possible to import a product using the woocommerce import utility and have each product preset with an unpurchasable after date/time?  If so how do I do this please?

    I'm exporting the product data using WooCommerce but I cannot understand the data string of text, in what I think is the product timer field.  Thanks.

    Hi Zoe,

    Thanks for contacting us.

    If your products already have timers set properly, when you click on Products >> Export, please choose the options: https://prnt.sc/tnqbht to export all custom data to the CSV file. Then when you import your products again, all the settings will be reserved.

    Best regards.

    Thank you kindly for the quick reply.

    We're wanting to import fresh data weekly. There are over 150 products to import each week and each one needs a different timer setting on it.  Our products are meetings and we want to set the product timer to be 15 minutes before the start date/time of each meeting in the csv file by manually inputting it in to the column.  I see one column for 'Timer' but it contains a string of text like this:

      YToxOntpOjA7czo1ODoic2V0X3VucHVyY2hhc2FibGV8MTAwJXxkYXRlX3RpbWVfYWZ0ZXI+MDYvMDIvMjAyMCAwNTo0NSBwbSI7fQ==

    So we don't know how to translate this in to an 'action' and a 'date and time', in order that our spreadsheet can be built ready for import?

    Kind regards

    Zoe

    Hi Zoe,

    Thank you for the feedback.

    I have assigned one of our developers to help you with that.

    He’ll be looking into your question and responding with specific instructions as soon as possible.

    Please stay patient as we're having very heavy workloads, it might take some time for our developers to reach back.

    Hi Zoe,

    Please use this tool https://www.base64decode.org/ to decode this string and you will see https://www.screencast.com/t/VUQZPlGsj3zz

    a:1:{i:0;s:58:"set_unpurchasable|100%|date_time_after>06/02/2020 05:45 pm";}

    Please change this timer then encode (https://www.base64encode.org/) before adding to the import file.

    We'll try to add new feature to help us export/import easier soon.

    Best regards,
    Dustin
