Out of Stock or Hidden not working as expected

I'm testing this product as free with a view to upgrading to be able to set multiple actions.  However, I can't make 2 of the actions work as I'd expect them to.

Firstly, we have a timer to set a product as unpurchasable after a certain time, which works great.

Secondly, we want to expire a product after the product is unpurchasable, by setting it to either Hidden (so it does not show in search results or catalog page page), or set it to 'out of stock' and use the option for WooCommerce in the inventory settings to tell WooCommerce to 'hide out of stock products'.

This is because we sell hundreds of classes each week and as soon as the class has been delivered the product needs to come down from the available products.  We are using Search and Filter for WooCommerce and currently even though the WC Timer event sets the product to show 'out of stock' text, it doesn't set the stock status to 'out of stock', so it still appears in the WooCommerce catalog.  Same goes for the set 'hidden' feature of the WC Timer actions.  So what does the 'hidden' actually do?

How can I get this plugin to Hide products after a certain date.  Setting them as unpurchasable is not enough, they need to be hidden and unpurchasble.

    Many thanks

    Zoe

    Hi Zoe,

Thank you for contacting WPClever Support Forum. We’ve received your ticket.

However, the description is not enough for us to find the cause of the problem. Please provide us with some screenshots of errors and the link to your published product for checking?

After receiving your information, I'll proceed to the next step.

    Best regards.

    Hi,

I don't get an error.  I just wasn't seeing the results as I expected.

However, I've since tested in a basic product listing and WC Timer works ok.

So the problem may be how my Search & Filter plugin works.  I'll do some further research and testing to confirm.

    Thanks
