For your information, Composite Products cannot be added to another product as a Bought Together item. On the contrary, you CAN add other simple/ variable products to a Composite Product as Bought Together item only.
I'm afraid you need to find another way to set up your deal. If you have any difficulty in setting up a deal, feel free to ask. Please be as specific as possible about your needs.
