I am currently testing your free version of the plugin, was just wondering if its possible to configure a limit for grouped products? Before i consider upgrading to the premium version of this plugin.
For Example:
I have 1 Parent Product with 10 Child Product configured as a Grouped Product, when assigning quantity to any of the 10 child product, if the total quantity count for that grouped product exceeds 5 Units, regardless of any selection made on the child product. It will grey out the quantity counter and the user will need to add the items to cart to proceed.
For your information, there's no way to control the quantity with Grouped Products plugin, customers will always be able to change the quantity and no discounting method is available for Grouped Products.
From your description, I highly recommend you to use WPC Product Bundle, in which you can add 10 products together as bundled product and set the quantity limit per item or for the whole bundle https://prnt.sc/sl6yq9.
In the front-end, on bundle loading, it will display a notification for reminding customers to choose a variation when there is variable products in the bundle: https://prnt.sc/sl6zf1. And when the max quantity reaches the limit, there's also a warning: https://prnt.sc/sl71eq and the Add to Cart button is grayed out to prevent buyers from adding it to the cart.
Enable "Sold individually" (https://prnt.sc/sjiwtz) if you want to let customers buy only 1 bundle like that per order.
The free version of this plugin allows simple products but have no limit on the number of items to be added to a bundle, so you can try that out with the above-mentioned settings from the WordPress repository before deciding to buy the Premium version.
If you have any further questions about our plugins, feel free to ask. I'm happy to help.
Thanks for the suggestion, I tested it out for myself, and strangely there is a "add to cart" button present for this plugin (Product Bundle Plugin). Not sure if this is due to how each plugin works seperately from one another, another thing I would like to check with you on whether if this is a supported scenario. Whereby we can have "ddSlick" interface as the selection interface for Product Bundles? I tested this with your radio button extension and it doesnt seem to take any affect of any sort. Is there a criteria to be met for this ? I see Composite Products plugin have to be grouped for this drop down selection method to work, and this selection option is not available on Product Bundle plugin.
