So when the plugin settings for "Active" is set to "No" the plugin won't be displayed regardless of the setting for "Active" on the product page?
If I understand what you've said is that I need to set the global plugin setting to "Yes" and then turn off every product I don't want it to be set for?
Yes, please try again to change the plugin settings then enabled/disable with a test product. The new updates of WordPress 5.4 and WooCommerce 4.0 have brought about many major changes so we also have to update our plugin accordingly.
Please try then give me some feedback so that I know how to help you further.
If that's the case, what's the function of the product page setting?
There is no quick way for me to do that to 600 products is there? This means that it's an unsuitable solution to my problem. Can a dev please take a look and fix the problem?
If I have it set to globally active and turn off per product then the radio buttons are shown correctly.
However, I need this issue to be fixed as otherwise I have a *vast* number of products to individually change and it's obvious the plugin needs some development work to make it work correctly.
For your information, since the recent updates of WooCommerce and WordPress, we have to change it this way to enable proper display.
I will write a note to our developers ans assign this ticket to him. He will study your case and find a solution for you.
Please stay in touch for his response. Since at this time, we're dealing with quite heavy workload, it might take some time for our developer to reply to you. Kindly be patient, thank you.
While I understand that changes have broken the plugin, a solution needs to be found. I cannot spend hours manually deactivating this from each of 597 individual product pages. There's no way to update this setting in bulk through bulk editor so with your suggested workaround is going to take me dozens of hours to make the plugin work.
I tested on our dev site again and our plugin is still working, either way is possible. The old way you used to apply is still possible.
Our developers also confirmed that keeping general setting active then disable or disable general setting then turn it on in individual products are psossible. The settings in the individual products always override the general settings.
They said if display is not active if you have done it correctly, there might be missing components.
Or maybe you're using another plugin or theme has changed on your site that affects the variation display.
Could you please provide the link to a variable product with radio turned on but has an error in display so that we can further do a check?
I'm not seeing the variation radio buttons when it is active at product level, regardless of setting, but when it's enabled globally, they're visble.
Hi Guy,
Thank you for contacting WPClever Support Forum. Actually, the way our plugin works is the other way:
1. Enable this plugin in the plugin settings.
2. Go to each product to change the setting to disabled or enabled to override the general settings.
Best regards.
