I have been trying your products and I have found them really interesting.
I want to create a composite product using variable products as components, I am able to add this products as components, however, in the front it just lists each variation name without including the attributes(variations), so the customer doesn't know what is actually buying. How can I show the variations names including the attributes or give to the customer the option to choose the preferred variation?
As an example, lets say my composite product include a variable product named "T-Shirt", this T-Shirt has as the attributes color(Blue, Red) size(S, M) and material(Cotton, Other). Under my actual scenario it lists all the 16variations as "T-Shirt" but doesn't give any more information about the product and neither allow the customer to select his/her preferences.
For your information, our Composite Products plugin will always display a comprehensive list of all included products and their variations. So instead of choosing a deal as a step-by-step process like first choosing a size, then all variations available for that size, etc., our plugin just display all included variations in the drop-down list alongside with simple products.
It's like building a preferred computer with selections for SSD, HDD, RAM. When you want to create a deal for customers to choose the variations they want for each attribute of that products, you can kindly use other tools for variation display.
Concerning the atrribute display, we used to apply as your suggestion, but it comes in conflict with the new changes in WooCommerce 4.0 recently, so for now it can only display the choices like that.
We're conducting a thorough consideration and assessment of features to be included in our plugin, so I'll write a note to our developers to deliver your suggestion. Thank you.
Thanks for your answer, I will keep an eye on any update since as you might understand it's kind of important. I have seen this issue with products that have more than 1 attribute, products with only one doesn't have that issue. I have tried your Bundle plugin as well, and there I don't see the same problem.
I have written a note to remind our developers about this, they said they will consider this in the future updates.
Changing the interface from drop-down list to step-by-step process to let customers choose a variation for each attribute is not feasible now for us. Our developers said it might be in conflict when users choose Categories or Tags source since it contains different kinds of products under the same component.
Hopefully, we'll be able to find a solution soon for this. Until then we will provide a notification via the change log and plugin updates.

I also have this issue. Can you please advise on any update as having individual products for each variation is not feasable. Thanks.
