Hi. I set up my first product on your plugin and I immediately have a suggestion for you.

I have a set that consists of 10 items. Each customer can choose any products from the same category, but no more than 10 items in total. For example, it can buy 10 different products for 1 unit or 1 product in the amount of 10 units. I created a composite product, made it 10 stock items, and set up quantity restrictions. Technically, everything works, but it looks ugly and incomprehensible to the buyer. If a customer is going to buy a set of 2 products of 5 pieces, they do not need 8 more empty lines to select. These lines worsen the appearance of the page and cause confusion for the buyer, they just get confused and do not understand what to do with these lines. It will be super-cool if you add the "add product" button and configure it so that by default it is one, but you can add or remove lines.

p.s. I apologize for my poor English, I use a translator))

    Hi Alex,

Thank you for your questions. I've got your suggestion.

For your information, WPC Composite Products plugin is a very flexible tool, which allows users to set up deals that make sure customers get what they want.

Specifically, as you described, you want buyers to build a deal of 10 products under a unique category, whether it's 10 pieces of the same item or 10 different products. To eliminate any confusion for buyers, you can set it up like this:

Create 10 components with the same setting as below:

    - Source: Categories. Add that unique category to the component.

    - Default product: type in a product as a suggestion for each component. Buyers don't have to buy the default product, they can choose another from thw drop-down list.

    - Required: Yes. Make sure buyers make a selection for all components.

    - Quantity: 1. Allow only 1 item to be bought per component.

    - Custom quantity:  No. Make sure buyers cannot buy more than 1 per component.

You can give one more line in the main description of the composite to state that customers can choose the same products many times or at maximum 10 different items products.

If you have quite plenty of products for customers to choose under that category, you can use the Select2 selector interface, a search box will appear for buyers' convenience. In the front-end customers can enter keywords to find their favorite item in the search box.

For the time being, this is the best way to make sure the deal makes sense to buyers and they can actually build their favorite order.

I'll write a note to our developers to deliver your suggestions to them. Kindly note that the decision of whether or not to add this to the official features of our plugin lies in our developers' hands. Since adding such features as adding or removing components in the front-end might cause errors on other site and very complicated to be achieved.

I'll keep you posted when there is any response about this from our developers.

    Have a nice day.

    Best regards.

Good idea, I didn't think of that. Thank you, I will. But it would be great to reduce the list of rows =)) I will wait for information
