Hi, I have just purchased the product bundles plug in and I am having difficulty in creating a set discount to my items.

    For example,

I have a Category with a brand and that brand has 20 different items in them.
I would like my customers to chose any three items for a set price etc.

I would also like to apply the same rule to variation of products from the website.

Is there a simple way of doing this i.e. creating a category where all items are linked in to this category which the discount applies or do I have to apply something to each item to make this happen?

Alternatively if there is a guide or a video on how to do this step by step that would be great.

I would be really greatful if you could help me out on this as I am desperately in need of sorting this out.

Note: I bought this with a debit card and therefore I do not have a paypal Transaction id

    Thank you

    Hi Abs,

Thank you for purchasing our plugin. Your purchase was verified with your registered email address.

Concerning your question, I would like to recommend to you another plugin that is more suitable for creating such deals as you wish.

WPC Product Bundles is a plugin for bundling items together, which means customers must buy ALL items in that deal in order to enjoy the discounts. If you'd like to create a deal where customers can choose 3 items from a list of 20 products, WPC Composite Products would be more suitable.

WPC Composite Products allows users to create a kit-building deal, which means customers can choose from a list of item the things they want for buying. Each item in a composite called a component, which can take source from Products or Categories.

With this plugin, you can put all 20 products under a new unique subcategory, choose Source: Categories, then create 3 components with the following settings:

    - Source:Categories, then add the newly created subcategory to the component.

    - Required: Yes

    - Custom quantity: No

Since you want your buyers to buy only 3 from the list, you should create 3 components like that, set them as required and don't allows customers to change the quantity. You can also set a new price for each component by % or an amount. This would meet your needs.

About the Pricing, use Only base price, then go to General tab of Product data section, set a regular price for your composite. Then you have a fixed price for a deal of selling 3 items out of 20 products.

You can kindly read more from our blog about the differences and practical use of our major WooCommerce plugins here in this blog https://wpclever.net/5-best-woocommerce-product-bundling-tools-for-skyrocketing-your-sales.html.

Since the free version of our WPC Composite Product allows 3 components at maximum per deal, you can totally create your deal with the free version of our plugin. Please give it a try.

SPECIAL NOTES: As you have purchased our Product Bundles, if you consider our WPC Composite Products as useful for your site and would like to own a license of that plugin, we can give you a refund for $9 if you purchase a license of Composite Products in the next 24 hours and email us at [email protected] with your purchase information.

Our sales assistant will give you a refund of $9 within 24 hours.

Thanks for your support of our plugin.

Have a nice day and best regards.
